A Cottage-Core elopement in the Big Horn Mountains

Cottage-core ~ Earthy ~ Chic

Minnesota wedding photographer Britney Moser traveled to Sheridan to capture this magical Wyoming destination wedding.

Alexandra wanted her day full of earthy textures in white and green and a little pop of yellow as a nod to her yellow diamond engagement ring.

She wore a stunning bias-cut gown from A La Robe from The Dress Theory in Seattle made from silk crepe de chine with French lace detailing. With an ivory V-neck with lace details, she looked incredible atop our favorite Big Horn Mountains.

These lovebirds planned a destination wedding in the Big Horn Mountains and a small celebration with their closest friends and family. They chose to stand up without a bridal party and her friends picked dresses in colors of blue and green to match the wedding theme.

An August Wedding at Home

Eliza & Zach

Imagine exchanging vows against the backdrop of Wyoming's Bighorn Mountains—a breathtaking setting for a simple, unhurried, and undeniably beautiful wedding at the bride’s family home. Picture sage green blending with warm, muted gold tones, accented by delicate white daisies reminiscent of the bride's mother's bouquet. This captured the heart of their Western wedding, with every detail radiating natural charm.

A Sunflower Wedding in White and Yellow

Cheery ~ Western-y ~ Bright

When a horse trainer calls for a vet to doctor some sick calves, it’s a love story for the books.

Rebecca and Brandt chose to say I do below the Bighorn Mountains at the Big Horn Equestrian Center near his childhood home, and their day was full of dramatic weather and the biggest smiles.

Forever West Weddings & Events coordinated an incredible group of vendors for this couple from California to make their destination wedding dreams come true.

Wyoming wedding photographer Cassie Madden captured everything from getting ready to smiles in the rain.

The groom and his men wore a classic western Canadian tuxedo and their cowboy hats with boots. The bride found her perfect dress at Miosa Bridal, a shop in Folsom, CA, and her ladies wore pale blue knee-length dresses.

The bride’s love of sunflowers directed our vision for the day and her flowers. We included locally grown Ox Eye Sunflowers (Heliopsis helianthoides) and white cosmos for a delicate, light feeling with plenty of movement.

They originally planned an outdoor ceremony on the expansive polo fields under an arch from Powder River Party Rentals with flowers and some calf roping pieces. Ultimately, the rain called for a change of plans, but we love these shots captured beforehand. The hanging arrangements did double duty for the day and were used as centerpieces under the tent for their reception.

The Cake Chic - Jaci Schmidt created custom cookies for each guest and a three-layer cake with a custom topper. The team from Shabby Shack crafted a beautiful meal and place settings under the tent for their reception.

Congratulations!

A June Wildflower Wedding in White & Yellow

Demi & James

I ask every couple to rate how important flowers for their event are on a scale of 1 (meh) to 10 (heck, YES). Demi responded with a resounding 11 and we set off on an adventure planning her dream wedding flowers with Forever West Weddings & Events by our side.

She and James planned a weekend celebration at the beloved HF Bar Ranch and invited their nearest and dearest to join them.

Sarah Averill, a Wyoming wedding photographer, captured all the gorgeous details and their sweet love.

Demi let her ladies choose their dress style and color within her floral-filled yellow theme, and the result was stunning. Each friend wore her personal favorite with character and sweet details. Her dress came from Emma & Grace Bridal Studio and was designed by Pronovias. Hair & Makeup by Tanya finished their looks for the wedding day with their beauty shining through.

As we all know, June can be a fickle month in Wyoming and this day was no exception. We designed their ceremony florals under sunny skies with clouds peeping over the mountain peaks. After a short and intense rain delay, their ceremony occurred under stunning evening skies.

Linden House sourced incredible pieces for dinner hosted on the covered porch at the ranch house, bringing Demi’s blue-plated dreams to life. We paired delicate blooms in white, yellow, and pale pink with tapered candles for a dreamy evening over food with their loved ones.

The couple stole away immediately the ceremony for some portraits together and Demi traded her long veil for a petite flower crown with ranunculus and chamomile.

Congratulations!

A September jewel-tone wedding

This is a love story 17 years in the making. These two sweethearts met when they were just 7 but started their romance in their 20s and were married on a warm September day full of joy.

They planned an elegant bohemian-styled day with their families in Colorado Springs. Full of deep jewel tones and delicate details, we brought all of the bride's favorite colors to the table and simple potted ferns to complete the look.

Audrey requested a gently cascading bouquet, and we added delicate ferns to match the pattern on her stunning Maggie Sottero dress. Eric was born in New Zealand, and his only request for the wedding was a nod to his favorite plant - a New Zealand fern.

All the beauty of the day was captured by award-winning wedding photographer Adonye Jaja of Denver, CO.

Their reception took place under a clear top tent filled with the famous Colorado sunshine. We topped their wooden farm tables with a collection of items including birch logs, potted ferns, hand-thrown, farmhouse style bud vases and lush, low centerpieces packed with flowers in mustard, rust, yellow, deep purples, salmon and deep red. A twist on the traditional jewel-tones with a nod towards the end of summer and more muted tones.
